And I've even tried changing that key but the results are the same, Manipulator derived, targeted NPC racemenu changes will not save. Dunno why but it doesn't recognize my completion key (for me that Key is M4), even though the normal showracemenu for my character dos so without any problem. TBH, although it does allow me to open and use the limited racemenu instance for targeted NPCs and followers, actually "saving" the results of those changes hasn't been something I've done successfully yet. I'd recommend you visit where you downloaded it and post a query there for the author and more seasoned users of Manipulator.
I have that mod installed but I haven't used it all that much. I'll be back when I can with that info re: direct racemenu use later on tonight or tomorrow.
It also provides other interesting features, but I'll leave them to you if you're interested enough to download it. (some appear to be immune to any change). (I use M4 on a logitech mouse)Īnd ftr, in case you just need simple changes, Lazy Tools allows modify certain aspects, body weight, scale, and gross proportions (breast and butt size, waist thickness.), but none of the fine detail we see within racemenu or bodyslide, athough with the few things it can do, it does apply to either a targeted NPC, follower, or the player, as long as they're modifiable bodies in the first place. However, while I know it works (to some degree), at least while changing parameters, I have some sort of a hotkey conflict that prevents saving the results, even though the same button works fine when saving a "normal" showracemenu result. (I suspect it's Manipulator but don't want to send you down the wrong rabbit hole) When I boot my game later tonight I'll try to remember to check and hopefully report back here with what I found.
It's either BOSSE, Lazy Tools, Manipulator, or another, although I can't recall which. A list of NPCIDs is hereĪnd there you have it, more Skyrim console commands than you can shake a stick at! If you're having trouble with using any of them, or want to investigate even more options, then simply type help in the console command screen and follow the instructions.Afaik there is at least one mod that allows partial use of racemenu on followers and NPCs. Turn off AI detection while stealing, doesn't work for pickpocketingĬhanges gender of targeted NPC (or yourself if not targeting)Īllows you to take control of the targeted NPCīring a dead targeted NPC back to life, add 1 to keep their current items intact Also, achievements will be disabled as soon as you start entering these codes, so unfortunately you won't be able to cheat your way to completing any challenges. This may sound obvious, but it's worth reinforcing that using some of these codes (especially in combination with others) can cause glitches, mess up ongoing storylines, or crash your game entirely, so make sure you create a back up save and keep it separate before you start playing around - otherwise you may find you've permanently broken your progress, and nobody wants to deal with that in a game the size of Skyrim.
Unless otherwise stated, entering the same code a second time should turn it off again. You can enter multiple codes to stack up various different effects, then hit tilde once again to return to the game and reap the ill-gotten rewards you've given yourself.
As with many other PC games, entering Skyrim console commands is simply a case of pressing the tilde (~) key to open up the developer console, then typing in the command code in the correct format.
